Reimbursement for Xigris

Eli Lilly and Company has developed the Xigris Reimbursement Hotline and Xigris Treatment Support Program (XTSP) to provide reimbursement and indigent care assistance for Xigris patients and their healthcare providers. The Xigris Reimbursement Hotline is staffed by reimbursement professionals who can provide the following assistance:

  • Provide information on the new International Classification of Diseases, 9th revision, Clinical Modification (ICD-9-CM) procedure code and diagnosis codes related to severe sepsis and Xigris use
  • Discuss the enrollment process for the XTSP
  • Screen patients state insurance programs or high-risk pools

In addition, the XTSP provides access to free Xigris treatment for qualifying, financially needy patients who are not covered by third-party insurance or alternative sources of reimbursement.
